Gyrolab_xPand_blog.pngThis year, Bioprocess International West brings together attendees from different departments to share challenges and discuss the “solutions needed to improve the speed, lower the cost and increase the quality of biologics development”. We are proud to announce a new system that is aimed at doing exactly that: Gyrolab® xPand.

Gyrolab xPand is a new 5-CD model that provides automation and throughput to enable the rapid and efficient generation of data for large numbers of bioprocess samples. This throughput together with software designed to support the bioprocess workflow streamlines and accelerates the implementation of QbD strategies in bioprocess development. The software is, of course, designed for 21 CFR part 11 compliance.

Built-in flexibility to smoothen workflows and increase throughput

As an open platform with built-in flexibility, Gyrolab xPand can be adapted to your specific needs, for example enabling different assays to be mixed and matched within a run, while maintaining high quality results. During assay runs Gyrolab xPand maintains samples at 2 – 8°C, reducing the possible adverse effects of on-board sample storage.

The new Gyrolab software will help to increase your productivity by enabling you to plan experiments at your desktop, and also includes functionality for experiment mapping and setting up and running dilution linearity and spike recovery studies for assay qualification.

We will be showcasing Gyrolab xPand at booth #417 at the BPI West conference in San Francisco on March 19–22. If you miss this chance then you can see the unit on display at the 12th WRIB conference in Philadelphia, April 9-13.
